My Philosophy of Life

So yesterday my student success teacher assigned us to write our philosophy of life summed up to half a page or one full page. I knew it would be hard but because I could write about that and it would go on for page after page. But after a good hour of typing and backspacing, this is what I came up with. All summed up, a bit scattered, but I think I got my point across:

My Philosophy of Life
My philosophy of life, this is something I could write about endlessly.  To sum it all up, I will start with the beginning.  We all are born into this planet with a purpose, and we also have a job to seek it. Life is a journey of trials and tribulations, simple or complex; we are faced with these for a reason.  These are the things that form us and create us to be who we are; these are the things that we must face to drive us to fulfill our purpose here on Earth.   Life is a beautiful thing filled with magnificence, we are all beautiful too.
Life is never easy, but a gentle reminder can always be given when we practice and learn to have compassion for others.  It’s easy though, because if you know that every walk of life is different for everyone, then you are aware that there are always going to be things that our eyes can’t see. Our world is so large, every road is paved differently and no matter what there are things left in the shadows of other’s lives that we will never know, so why should we be the judge of another person or turn our nose? Life is about having a dream and filling your purpose. Life is about smiling for the little things and rejoicing in what we already have.  Life is about seeking happiness and knowing what is worth and not worth.  Life is about being a good person, being genuine and caring for others.  Life is about love, compassion, repentance, acceptance, forgiveness, and having faith. All of those things drive individuals to feel happiness and other emotions that give us a reason to wake up in the morning. To me life is about living to the fullest and learning from mistakes to make peace with any regrets. In life we should feed our spirit and starve our flesh to best of our ability. This is what I live by and it may not be for you. But I have a burning in my heart to walk this life in these paths. We all have the right to believe in whatever we want, if its religion or just a simple theory of what life is about, but what is important is that we all have a dream to live for and know that we all have a purpose and gift; but it is up to us to reach it and let our own individual beauty shine.  All the many different forms of life, they are all unique, significant or insignificant. We must embrace them and embrace the light that will ignite the world. Life can only be what we make of it, and seeing as life is only once, we must make the best of it and know that if we were to leave this world behind, our essence would be left pleasantly without any unfinished business.
Tomorrow is left unknown.
